About Serenity Yoga

I teach Iyengar‑inspired yoga with a focus on precise alignment, nervous system regulation, and making practice feel deeply human.

My story

I found yoga as a way to manage stress and chronic back pain in my early twenties. Iyengar’s method of careful alignment and the use of props gave me a way to feel both strong and supported in my body.

After years of personal practice, I completed my foundational teacher training and began apprenticing with senior teachers. My classes weave together structure and softness—rooted in classical Iyengar principles but responsive to the realities of modern life.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me reading, experimenting in the kitchen, or walking slowly with a coffee in hand.

What Guides My Teaching

🧘

Precision & Alignment

Every pose is an opportunity to understand your body better. I provide clear, detailed instruction to help you find your optimal alignment.

🤲

Inclusivity First

Yoga is for every body. I offer modifications, props, and variations to ensure everyone can participate safely and meaningfully.

🌱

Sustainable Practice

I believe in building a practice that you can maintain for life—one that supports rather than exhausts you.

💫

Nervous System Care

Beyond physical postures, we work with breath, rest, and regulation to support your overall wellbeing.

Creating Space for Presence

My studio—whether physical or virtual—is designed to be a sanctuary. Here, you can slow down, tune in, and practice without judgment. I keep classes small (max 8 students) so I can see and support each person. Props are always available, questions are always welcome, and rest is always an option.

Whether you're recovering from injury, managing stress, or simply curious about yoga, there's a place for you here.
